Great news coming out of Zimbabwe`s premiere tourist destination is that The Victoria Falls Rainforest has opened its gates for the domestic market. After over 100 days of inactivity this magnificent natural wonder is open to the local travelers who wish to experience the largest curtain of falling water.Due to the novel Corona virus pandemic which has affected the global travel market safety is of the utmost paramount importance hence entry into the park one has to wear a mask and sanitize at the entry of the park. Social distancing is one important aspect during these trying times so visitors has to adhere to strict social distancing.
This move to open the Rainforest and all national parks in the country for domestic travelers is a step in the right direction for the tourism players who have felt the hard impact of restricted travel in the world. Restaurants are also open though still restricted to 50% of normal seating capacity this to cautiously avoid the covid 19 curve going up once again.
